54-year-old Jerald Newman was out shopping with his wife and grandson during this years Black Friday madness when he was brutally beaten by Phoenix police for suspected shoplifting. According to reports by myfoxphenix, Newman’s grandson was almost trampled in the video games section at Wal-Mart when a rush of crazed customers began tearing up boxes, Newman sprang into action by pulling his grandson out of the chaos, but before doing so he placed a video game in his pants, which gave cops on the scene reason to question him.

Witnesses there said the cops attack was unwarranted and said he had hundreds of dollars worth of electronics he was getting ready to pay for.

“They grabbed the guy, body planted him into the ground – face shatters on concrete. That’s a hard concrete floor inside Walmart.”

“All of a sudden you see this little boy run up wailing and yelling, ‘Grandpa, Grandpa,’ and crying his eyes out.”

A cop saw and immediately arrested him for shoplifting. The man was cooperating while the cop was putting on the handcuffs. The cop out of no where tripped the man and bashed his head nose first into the ground knocking him out and there is blood everywhere.
